Living the life in San Francisco, California
October 2001 - November 2002
So this is California!
El Capitan -- Yosemite Valley, November 2002
I moved to San Francisco to learn about environmentalism in America. Where did I start the adventure? None other than my second home at...
As You Sow Foundation. I worked in the Corporate Social Reponsibility Program, as Research Associate. Conrad, my boss, was an inspiration to learn from and work with. The team at 311 California, Suite 510, was a force to be rekoned with. I'll miss them dearly and wish them the best in their efforts to combat corporate pollutors in California!
My first home was with my dear college friend, Erin. We lived at the end of a birth cannel, under the shade of an avacado tree, with a dynamite woman, Layla. My first encounter with a Brazilina blonde bombsell! Erin and Layla kindly extended their living room (sans porte!) and futon into my first home away from home. There I stayed, quietly, for the first 4 months, negotiating a new job, and among other forces, my future beloved, Tamir.
